Canadian Coach Helps Russian Skier Finish Race

In the midst of the most serious competitions in the world, Canadians still shine brightly at the 2014 Winter Olympics. A Canadian coach, Justin Wadsworth demonstrated a kind hearted, considerate, and gracious act.

A Russian skier had fallen and broken a ski, struggling to finish his race. Justin ran down bringing him a new ski so that he was able to finish the race with dignity. All olympians deserve to finish their event, whether they fell, or made a mistake, they have worked extremely hard to get there. There wasn’t even a Canadian racing, Justin was just there as a spectator, and saw an opportunity to help. Thank you Justin for making Canada proud. You are truly demonstrating what the Olympics should be all about. Image
