To my American friends, behold the Canadian Ceaser. No it is not a bloody mary, it’s a Canadian delicacy, and if you plan on travelling up North you best order one. Not coming to the Great North? Make a round for you and your friends at home. The nice thing about ceasers is that it’s an individual drink. You can make it spicy, or not spicy, and get creative with your garnish and rimmer.

Canadians love ceasers. We have classic ceasers, spicy ceasers, bacon ceasers, cool cucumber ceasers, and so on and so forth. So trust me, give this a go, you’ll come back to thank me later. 😉

Classic Ceaser Recipe:

  • 1 oz vodka
  • 2 dashes hot sauce
  • 3 dashes freshly ground salt and pepper
  • 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 oz Mott’s Clamato Original Cocktail

1 celery stick & 1 lime wedge

1 extreme bean & 1 olive

Prep: Rim a glass with lime and Mott’s Clamato Rimmer. Fill the glass with ice and add all ingredients. Mix well and serve.
